The 25 Hottest Love Interests from Superhero Movies and TV
In honor of Anne "One of the Hottest Women Alive" Hathaway being cast as one of the most iconic superhero love interests of all time, Selina Kyle, in The Dark Knight Rises, here are all of the hottest women who have ever played a girlfriend, wife or random hook-up of a superhero in a film or TV show ranked by how hot they were as their character.

Anne Hathaway
Anne Hathaway played Catwoman/Selina Kyle that is pretty much the closest Batman has ever come to true love in The Dark Knight Rises.

If there's anyone that can get Christian Bale's Bruce Wayne wrapped around her finger, it's definitely Anne Hathaway. Finally breaking a streak of weak female characters in Batman movies, Anne Hathaway really brought her A-game to make her Catwoman not only as unique as other iterations of villains we've seen in previous Nolan Batman films, but also "real."

With Nolan directing it's pretty safe to say that this is the best Selina Kyle we've gotten so far, and one that is layered, seductive, two-faced, and downright hot as hell.

If you draw your eyes to Exhibit 2 you'll see that the way she looks in a black corset (this time with her arms up, with the corset just barely hanging on for dear life) really does seal the deal that this is great casting (despite the fact that she's an Oscar nominated actress who has never really done a bad job at any role she's ever been handed).

She's just overall hotter than: Halle Berry, Michelle Pfeifer, Julie Newmar, Maggie Baird, Lee Meriwether, and Eartha Kitt
Blake Lively
Blake Lively is without a doubt one of the most beautiful women in the world. Her body is about a 12, and when she opens her mouth, you don't feel the need to punch babies. The perfect fit for Carol Ferris in Green Lantern

I mean, check out THIS footage of her, and Leighton Meester licking and sucking on candy. Nobody hotter than her will ever play this character.

Now, nobody has ever played Carol Ferris before--at least not in live-action. Carol Ferris, the comic book character, is a woman who falls in love with Hal Jordan (Green Lantern himself) after her father hires him as a pilot for the plane company they own.

The weirdest part, which didn't happen in the movie, is that an alien race of warrior women take over Carol's body (like any of us would if we could), and make her into a supervillain named Star Sapphire that has powers much like the Green Lantern's.

I can see Blake Lively cracking wise about not being attracted to Ryan Reynolds (because God knows he looks like an underdog...), but the idea of her turning into an ultra super-powered being could mean nothing but trouble.
Emma Stone
Gwen Stacy from the upcoming Spider-Man reboot.

The cutest girl in Hollywood at the moment (who even changed her haircolor back to her natural blonde -- click here to see a blonde Emma Stone -- for the role) Emma Stone has shown us, with Superbad, Easy A and even Zombieland, that the nerdy guy really can get the girl.

Once again falling for a nerdy guy, Emma Stone is about to play the mother of all nerd lovers in Gwen Stacy, Spider-Man's first true love.

Since nobody else (other than Bryce Dallas "I Make Terrible Film Decisions" Howard) has truly played Gwen Stacy in a notable production of Spider-Man, it's safe to say that not only is Emma going to be the cutest one, but she's going to bring the most depth to the character. Bryce Dallas Howard, although hot as hell, makes horrible decisions and her role in the decline of the Spider-Man franchise with Spider-Man 3 was so unsexy (if nothing but for how bad the movie was) that Emma Stone gets the pick for hottest Gwen stacy ever.

Here's another still of Emma in the new Spider-Man movie while (spoiler alert) attending a funeral (that, for anyone who's read the comics should be no surprise.)

Sadly, the character of Gwen Stacy can't stick around for tooo long, which makes us sad because if anyone could pull of a young Mary Jane Watson, it would be Emma Stone. Raise your hand if you'd be totally fine with this just to get a double dose of Emma.
Erica Durance
Lois Lane from "Smallville."

The only competition Erica Durance might have for the hottest Lois Lane of all time might be from Lois & Clark: The New Adventures of Superman's Teri Hatcher, a still terribly underrated show that actually holds up well (seriously, re-watch the pilot it's actually not bad).

But if you put them next to each other like in THIS picture, then the argument starts to come together. Even at her hottest, Teri Hatcher can't hold a candle up to Erica Durance, and really neither can any other Lois Lane.

One of the worst parts about Superman: Returns was that we were given a one-dimensional, weak and massively non-intelligent Lois Lane. Lois Lane is one of the strongest women in comic book history, a role model for girls and actually deserves a great representation, which is why we chose Erica Durance.

She's spunky, she beats the crap out of people with her words, she's persistent, she has a secret love for Clark, is obsessed with Superman and is a strong independent woman who could beat the crap out of you -- which is hot as hell.

Kirsten Dunst
Mary Jane Watson from Spider-Man 1-3

Alright alright, so maybe its Kirsten Dunst, but you know what? I'd defend her hotness til the end of the world if I needed to. Not only is she a rock solid actress, but she fully commits to every and any role that she's handed. When brought into the magical world of Spider-Man, she not only played the accessibly hot girl that you, for some reason, thought might one day love you (according to John Hughes movies), but she made that girl hot, likable and accessible at the same time.

Also, until someone else does a really, really solid Mary Jane, she's really the only live-action one we have to go by. The only one that matters, any way.

Not only did she help coin an entire kind of kiss ("The Spider-Man Kiss"), but she owned that role and actually pulled something great off in being able to deliver a line where she calls a guy "tiger" without making it sound too forced.

So, in honor of that, here are some really hot pictures of Kirsten "Kristen Stewart's Getting My Roles Now" Dunst.

Anything that went wrong with Spider-Man 3 could not have possibly been her fault. You know why? THIS picture

Here, for no reason, is her squeezing her own boobs together.

Here's a really hot picture of her that's from her earlier days and probably went into the consideration of whether or not she's suited to play one of the hottest comic book gingers of all time.
Liv Tyler
Betty Ross from The Incredible Hulk

Liv Tyler's hot enough to unleash the inner frustration in all of us (and quite a bit more than that), but in The Incredible Hulk (the redo that was made by Marvel Studios a few years after the critical flop "Hulk") she proves that not only is she the hot girl we all want, she's the hot girl that all of us deserve.

Betty sticks by Bruce no matter what and, like in most things, she is also his weak point; but in this movie it doesn't piss us off because Betty isn't portrayed as so much of a victim as she is someone fighting against impossible odds. She's not someone beaten down giving her last breaths, she's someone who will never give up but just doesn't have that much power.

Also, unlike most Bettys in Hulk history, she actually tries to have sex with Bruce and that takes ovaries of steel.

Here she is in a tight white dress proving that she actually does kind of go for the small dorky type, making her role in this movie that much hotter.

She played it hotter than: Jennifer Connelly
Mary Elizabeth Winstead
Mary Elizabeth Winstead has two superhero love interests under her belt.

1. Gwen/Royal Pain from Sky High is the love interest in the movie for the main character who has latent super strength.

2 (and more importantly). Winstead also plays the entire inciting incident in the plot for Scott Pilgrim vs. The World. She plays the girl so hot that a guy will fight 7 evil ex-boyfriends (well, exes) to date her, pictured HERE.

Mary Elizabeth Winstead is known for being a girl that dudes will bend over backwards for, as she's even played John McClain's daughter in Live Free or Die Hard, where McClaine's newest sidekick gets a piece of the (her) action after, you know, saving the free world and all that.

Natalie Portman
Jane Foster in Thor (2011 Marvel Studios)

Okay, so nobody's ever played Jane Foster before (Thor's love interest), but if sometime in the distant f*ture science invents somebody hotter than Natalie Portman, then the fact that cryogenic freezing (and not the weird, realistic kind, but the awesome, gel-filled Demolition Man kind) doesn't exist commercially, for regular use, is a crime and an outrage.

Jane Foster is a strong, awesome love interest (and kind of a trifling piece of crap) that falls in love with both Thor and his alter ego Donald Blake. She's actually a nurse (which means we might get to see Natalie Portman in a hot nurse's outfit) that works for Dr. Donald Blake who eventually gains feelings for him even though she's totally into this literally-God-like dude she met recently.

That's gotta be an awkward conversation once she finds out both dudes knew what she was trying to pull.

Also, look at her in this see-thru dress.

Nicole Kidman
Dr. Chase Meridian from Batman Forever

Say what you will about Batman Forever (no, really, say it, that crappy movie has it coming), Nicole Kidman has rarely looked hotter. Remember that scene where she's covered in nothing but a thin satin sheet and she admits that she sleeps naked? Remember that scene where she does nothing but dress like Jessica Rabbit? (Read: the whole movie.)

Nicole Kidman was in RARE form in this movie, and we all have horrible, horrible directing to thank for it. She was an Oasis in a sea of over-acting and made a man out of many a little boy at the time.

Nicole Kidman's character (who was made up for the movie because yeah, a franchise with hundreds of different pre-established characters really needs more throw-away female characters), the soundtrack and the cool clear mugs that McDonald's made at the time were the only good things about this entire ordeal.

Oh, and speaking of that scene of her sleeping naked, here it is: YouTube Link
Yvonne Craig
Better known as Batgirl from the Batman television series of the 60s, Yvonne Craig goes down as the single hottest Batgirl in Batman history (not including Lexi Belle who played Batgirl in 2010's Batman XXX, of course).

To be respectful, this woman really gave Barbara Gordon the spunk she deserves as a character, and also made Batgirl into a character considered as "sexy." She wasn't just someone to be captured who jumped around looking hot, she actually had some WHAMs and THWACKs to offer. It was wonderfully played by an awesome actress who also played a green alien in Star Trek.

Yvonne Craig also showed us all, as children, the beauty of something that most men know and love very well: the nipple poke.

There's no doubt in anyone's head right now exactly what she looks like topless. And that is glorious.

Hats off to a classically beautiful woman playing a classy and beautiful Batgirl.
