Carrie Prejean, a 2009 Miss USA contestant from California, sparked fury over her controversial stance against gay marriage--but more entertaining than that, she calls marriage between a man and a woman, "opposite marriage."
Miss Teen USA, 2007, "Such as the Iraq, Everywhere, Like, Such As.."
"We should help the Iraq." This is the crown jewel of beauty pageant fails, where every second feels like a lifetime.
Miss Philippines, 2010, Has Never Made a Mistake in Her Life
...Except for that time she blew her chance at winning Miss Universe by not answering the judge's question. 
What Did Miss Venezuela, 2012, Just Say?
This one isn't really fair because there seems to be a language barrier issue here, but it is still delightfully awkward.
Miss Italy, 2015, Wants to Experience World War 2
When 2015's Miss Italy winner was asked which historical period she would most like to live in, she replied "1942," apparently forgetting about all of the death, destruction, genocide, dictatorship, and poverty that ruled during World War II.

"You know we always read pages and pages on the WWII and I would like to experience it, though obviously being a woman I would have just stayed home and wouldn't have to be a soldier." Lucky her.
